Understanding Date Math & Inclusivity
When measuring the duration between two calendar dates, confusion often arises regarding whether the final day is included:
- Exclusive (Standard Duration): Calculates the elapsed time between points. From Monday to Wednesday is 2 days (Monday to Tuesday, Tuesday to Wednesday).
- Inclusive (Event Span): When booking a rental or hosting a convention from Monday through Wednesday, you participate across 3 full calendar days. Simply tick the "Include end date" checkbox above to compute inclusive intervals.
